The short version: InvoiceJS is free. Use it for real, lawful invoicing; your data stays yours; we do our best to keep the service running, but it's provided as-is.
1. Who we are
InvoiceJS ("the Service") is a free online invoicing tool available at invoicejs.com, operated by Jhoana Rodriguez ("we", "us"). These terms describe your rights and obligations — and ours — when you use the Service.
By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the Service.
2. Your account
- You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
- You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe.
- Accounts are personal: one person (or business) per account.
- You must be legally able to enter into contracts to use the Service.
3. Free service
InvoiceJS is currently 100% free. No credit card is required and there are no trial limits. If this ever changes, we will announce it clearly in advance — existing users will never be silently charged.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful invoicing. In particular, you won't:
- Create invoices that are fraudulent or misleading.
- Attempt to access other users' data or break the Service's security.
- Use the Service to send spam or distribute malicious content.
- Resell or misrepresent the Service as your own product.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
5. Your content
The invoices, clients and other data you enter belong to you. You grant us only the technical permission needed to store and process that data so the Service can work. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising. You can export your data to CSV at any time.
6. Availability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it online and reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. We recommend exporting regular CSV backups of your archive.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. InvoiceJS is an invoicing tool, not tax or legal advice — you remain responsible for the accuracy and legal compliance of the invoices you issue.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the date above updated. If a change is significant, we'll highlight it in the app.
